Mural Magic is owned and operated by Amanda Rogers in San Antonio. Creating since she could hold construction paper, Amanda spent her childhood drawing, painting and making homemade cards for friends and family members. After receiving an Associate's Degree in Digital Media Design from Texas State Technical College in Waco, Amanda worked as a graphic designer until the fine artist in her could be silent no more. Self -teaching combined with instruction from renowned Vigini Studios, Amanda has enjoyed six years in business making San Antonio beautiful.

This client wanted a bedroom that matched her exotic taste with different animal prints, but was still regal enough for her husband to feel at home as well. By covering the walls in a gorgeous metallic gold, and treating the ceilng with cheetah and zebra stenciling, it was just what the room needed to feel complete!
A great new product from Sherwin William's new faux impressions line is a metallic plaster called Quartz Stone. I applied it in a strie and added a few strings of rhinestones. The rough texture of the wall showing through underneath added a rough feel, in which I dubbed the finish "Rustic Bling Quartz!"
This is the same metallic plaster, only in green. Before, the beautiful stone work around the shower area wasn't even noticed among all the beiges and browns. But adding a pop of color now gives the features in this bathroom the recognition it needed!
